Open since late September 2005, Viet-Thai Paradise Restaurant, as most guests would suspect, is not (Head Chef and owner) Henry Pham's first restaurant. Having spent numerous years studying the Culinary Arts and working in a wide variety of restaurants, Mr. Pham has indeed established himself as a culinary expert and a master of Vietnamese and Thai cuisine.

By no means new to the restaurant industry, Henry Pham owned and ran Royal Garden Restaurant, another Vietnamese and Thai restaurant in the Virgin Islands not too many years ago. After years of success in the Virgin Islands Mr. Pham made the decision to hand his "baby" over to new ownership and return to the states to pursue new endeavors. "What made running a restaurant in the Virgin Islands interesting was that during the storm season there was no telling if we would have to close up shop for several days at a time due to tropical storm warnings and advisories," chuckles Henry Pham.

Viet-Thai Paradise's wait staff and manager.

Thus the birth of Viet-Thai Paradise which to many Annapolis residents is a very welcome sight indeed. "Annapolis has been needing a nice Vietnamese & Thai restaurant for some time," has been a phrase coined by many a delighted guest. Located in Annapolis Technology Park, one would never expect to find such a beautiful restaurant with spectacular dishes and the service to match hidden within it.

"We discussed the restaurant's beautiful interior, a space that's graced with gentle lemon yellow walls, pink cloth napkins and fresh fuchsia spider lilies on each table..."
